Food Craving EFT Tapping Script
EFT or tapping is ideally suited for those who wish to lose weight, eliminate food cravings and reduce emotional eating.
Overeating, weight gain and food cravings are just symptoms of the real problem. The main issue is that we use food to tranquilize unresolved emotions that reside in the system.
We are basically feeling bad about something and beating ourselves up about it. EFT is a way to reduce those negative thoughts and feelings about ourselves.
Many of my clients have a sense of anxiety or unrest that certain foods “comfort foods” seem to temporarily tranquilize. There may also be other emotions, such as anger, fear and grief.
It makes sense then, when we are nervous, upset, feeling traumatized or angry we will turn to food to make us feel better.
Blaming or criticizing yourself is also a common issue for many who have this problem which makes it worse.
In my 3 month program, we work on those triggers to over eating and discover the unresolved emotional causes to the cravings and emotional eating. Our goal is to reduce or eliminate that sense of ongoing unrest. It doesn’t happen overnight and it takes some diligence in getting to those underlying emotional issues. We do it very respectfully and at your pace.

Food Cravings Tapping Script
Before beginning, calculate how strong your craving is. What level is it from a scale of 1 to 10? 10 being the highest. Write it down. If High, then tap on it. Try to be as specific as possible.
You may use the following set up phrase while tapping at least 1 time up to 3 times if you prefer.
While tapping on your KC (karate chop) point, say, even though I have this craving for ___________ which is a level of _______, I deeply and completely accept myself, or I would like to think I completely accept myself.
Tap 1 to 3 times around the following points as you say the reminder phrases.
TH – this 10 craving
EB- this 10 craving
OE – this craving
UE – this craving
UN – this craving
UL – this craving
CB – this craving
UA – this craving
TH – this craving
Take a deep breath and check in on your level of craving. Repeat as often as necessary. When it goes down but stays at a certain level then it means that you need to get more specific and explore possible emotional causes.
