Finding your voice using EFT
Many of my clients struggle with lack of confidence, self-esteem issues and self-doubt as it relates to speaking up for themselves.
Not speaking up may cause a client anxiety, anger, shame, confusion and guilt.
I began my last post about acknowledgement and that to me is the first step in assisting my clients in feeling more confident in finding their voice. This may be the first time in a long time they feel acknowledged.
One of the areas we work on is to become more grounded before you even have a conversation. There are many ways to become grounded and I model how to do so with my clients. Each client is different and they may like one way or other. I ask them how do they typically center themselves. I support and remind them to do that when they are not feeling grounded.
EFT is a fantastic tool to use before we have a difficult conversation. This helps to release any excess feelings so you can focus on facts instead of drama.
Also, many clients during tough conversations get ungrounded quickly and off their center so I teach holding one point that they feel releases anxiety and feeling ungrounded. I ask my clients if they can feel the difference with one point. For me, I touch under the eye and breath and on occasion the collarbone point.
The tapping points are on the head, face and upper body and are easy to learn.
I would love to talk to you about EFT Success Coaching as I offer free 20 minute consultations and I may be reached at BarbaraEBelmont.com.
