EFT for Stress Relief- 2 minute script
We know long term and short term stress is not good for our minds, bodies or our spirits. As much as we may try to ignore it, you cannot separate your wellness from your emotions. Negative emotions are very stressful and the longer they occupy our minds the deeper they root and are harder to release.
We cannot eliminate stress entirely, but there are tools available to help you. We know that exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and meditation are also good to help you manage stress.
EFT is another one of those tools that is quick and easy to learn and you can see results fast. Sometimes in a matter of minutes.
So with that in mind, I wanted to design an EFT script that you can use for any stress that you are feeling. This may help you relax enough to come up with a new solution or get unstuck. When I work with a client however, we get very clear and detailed on what the issue they are stressed about but this will be a general script.
It is amazing to me how much stamina my clients have and have endured long term stress but I also know it can catch up with us very quickly. I have seen and experienced health problems, anxiety and unhappiness from the stress of working with crisis on a continual basis.
Frankly I was overwhelmed quite frequently and ended up miserable. My flight and fight response was always on and I had no rest. EFT works beautiful in quieting the flight and fight response and it is amazing that doing a few rounds can help you think clearly and help you become centered and calm again.
If I had known years ago about EFT I would have been doing this. Instead I ended up with health issues, anxiety, unhappiness and burn out. I went searching for a different way and found it.
Yes, stress is a daily occurance but I notice that I am smiling more and I am not triggered by many things that would normally bother me. My clients also report many changes such as this. They are also solving some of their biggest problems. Where a client was stuck they are now unstuck.
For those who don’t know the points or how to tap, please check out my how to tap page on www.BarbaraEBelmont.com for instructions.
Measure the intensity of how stressful and intense you feel and where you feel it in your body on a scale of 1 (least) to 10 (worst). Think of that number and begin tapping on your KC point with either hand (dominant hand is best)
Karate Chop and say:
Even though I feel very stressed right now, I completely accept myself for feeling this way.

Now rate what number you are now. Keep going until you get the numbers down to a low number. The more specific on what is bothering you the better. Please change the words to your exact situation and keep doing this with how you really feel, or what is the exact emotion, or an exact event that is stressing you, or what is the limiting belief that you have.
I would love to hear if this helped you. Please write below and comment or send me a private message.
If you would like to ask me questions about private sessions or an event that you would like me to speak at, I offer free 20 minute private consultations where we talk about your exact situation and where you would like to effect change.
