EFT and Acknowledgement and getting your voice heard
Most of my clients have never experienced what true, non-judgmental acknowledgment feels like. And as a result, they deeply struggle with confidence, speaking up, and getting their voice heard.
What I love about EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is, that it is designed to give that so needed acknowledgment.
For many that don’t know, I have been working in the court system with crime victims for over 22 years and not feeling acknowledged has been a major problem for them. Since I was trained in EFT I have seen my clients reduce their anxiety, make good decisions, their confidence increase and they are able to get their voice heard.
What a relief it is as we tap together that a basic premise is acknowledging how you feel. And saying it out loud!
Oh my god how freeing is that!
However, there are some techniques in EFT that you do not have to say what the problem is out loud which will be another blog post in the future.
I treat my clients with kindness and compassion acknowledging that this is important to them. I hear you, I see you, I support you!
Some of my clients tell me that this is the first time in a long time that they are acknowledged for how they feel without judgment.
That is so awesome!
I feel that acknowledgement is the first step to true lasting healing.
